This week we’re featuring music selected by Will Frank Kiker, who does a&r music research. In his free time he has produced Uncovering A Cure, an album benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), spins the FUZZY parties in LA as StrangeMachine, and posts a lot of his favorite music and up-and-coming artists on blipfm.com. Forget Project Runway, Drag U and Ru Paul’s Drag Race. The next big drag star will be Christeene, an unwashed broke-ass Atlanta hoochie who drops filthy rhymes about “Bustin’ Brown” and “African mayonnaise.” She’s the drag persona of Austin-based performer Paul Soileau and she’s bringing whiskey, buttsex and celebu-trauma to a queer bar near you. In the upcoming issue of Veronica, released today, Kevin Keller’s sexuality is revealed matter-of-factly. Eating a hamburger at Pop’s, Keller tells Jughead why he’s not interested in dating Veronica.
“It’s nothing against her! I’m gay!” he says. “I guess I should just be up front!”
That is the kind of disclosure that would have been impossible under the Comics Code Authority. Established in 1954 as a response to public concern over depictions of violence and sexual innuendo in comics, the code banned references to homosexuality. Only in 1989 was the ban repealed to allow for non-stereotypical depictions of gays and lesbians.
But as times have changed, so have comics. Welcome to Riverdale Kevin Keller.

College football is big in Texas. Almost as big as Jason Visconti’s Dick. Somehow we missed out on college football’s preseason “conditioning photos,” which feature about 40 or so extremely buff, shirtless teenagers drizzled in baby oil and feeling sexy. Brent Everett and Pierre Fitch visited Fleshjack headquarters in Austin, Texas, this weekend to be molded for their upcoming Fleshjack Boys products. (Brent Corrigan, the other winner from our Fleshjack Boys contest, was otherwise booked and will be molded at a later date.)
It was nothing short of fabulous to meet Brent and Pierre in person! They were super nice and down-to-earth, and seeing them in person was even hotter than seeing them on screen.
After the molding, Brent and Pierre wandered over to our photo studio to strike a pose, with expert erotic photographer Gio behind the camera.

After wrapping the photoshoot and taking a quick disco nap, the boys headed out to the bars for a few drinks and made an appearance at Austin’s Midtowne Spa.
